Wedding Invitations

I'm getting married next summer and wanted to design my own unique invitations for the occasion.

I love the look of laser cut card and wanted to encorporate it in the design. I chose the image of a tree for the front cover as the venue for the wedding reception is the woodland where I grew up as a child.

There was going to be various extras to add to the invititaions such as maps and RSVP's. To hold these all securely the card has two slits in the back to tuck all the individual elements into.

I tied all the elements together using the symbol of a leaf with both our initials on. The tree on the front cover has a heart shaped hole for the leaf symbol to show through from the print behind.

Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome of the invitation it shows the natural but quality look I was going for whilst at the same time ending up extremly budget friendly!
